Oral Defense Summary
Controversially to the previous oral defense, complete sentences were typed that displayed excessive information pertaining to the project instead of questions that would be answered. In doing so, there was too much information for spectators to understand so that there is confusion in what method of dispersion in information should be received, yet inclusion of exact information may aid in comprehending further discussion topics when searching for specific information. Thus, information detailing an overarching topic should contain multiple slides based on the amount of content that is revellent to it. Additionally, there should also be a greater amount of shorter phrases that trigger memory of subject for the presenter as, when presenting the procedure, there was difficulty in remembering the content despite practice during previous two days. Though, this may also be related to the reduced scale of the text in addition to excessive information. Presenting of information twice by starting with general details leading into those that are specific within literature review and stating controls to then repeat them in explaining why they were used may have been effective in allowing the audience to retain a portion of what is displayed. In presenting quantitative data through a graph, prevalent data should be distinguished from that which is irrelevant in each point in more ways than pointing as to affirm the relation to the audience and aid the speaker in explanation.
